
Non-discrimination Policy
Frederick K. C. Price III School does not discriminate based on race, color, or national and ethnic origin for purposed of admission, educational services, or disciplinary practices.
OPEN ENROLLMENT POLICY
- Parent or guardian contacts the school for information school.
- Application is submitted accompanied by registration fee (non-refundable)
- Student must be enrolled by parent or legal guardian
- Student must be living with at least one parent or legal guardian
- Student must be enrolled by parent or legal guardian
- Age and Health Requirements:
- Student must have reached the suitable age for the grade level assigned prior to admittance. (Kindergarten students must be 5 years old on or before December 2)
- Student must have a birth certificate and all proper health and immunization records to fulfill State Health Requirements.
- All children entering school for the first time must show documentation of having received a comprehensive health screening examination within the past 12 months, provide documentation of up-to-date immunizations prior to admittance to school, and have written evidence of a tuberculosis (TB) skin test within one year of school entry. The only approved test is the Mantoux.
- Schedule an appointment for the student to take the Academic Assessment Test for K-12th grade applicants (assessment fee is due the day of the assessment)
- Student must satisfactorily pass the entrance exam and have a competitive GPA.
- FKCP III School will make the final determination of entrance upon assessment and transcript review.
- Parent/student interview with a member of the Admissions Committee to ensure that:
- At least one parent expresses a clear testimony of Christian faith.
- The parents’ desire a Christian education for their Child.
- Family beliefs and practices are consistent with the standards, doctrine, and values of the school.
- The prospective student expresses a desire to attend FKCP III School
- The Admissions Committee assesses the parent’s motivation in seeking the student’s enrollment in the school, as well as the student’s willingness to adhere to the discipline policies
- Admission Classification Status: Admission to FKCP III School can be regular admission, probationary (academic or behavioral) admission, or a denial of admission.
- Students may be accepted with conditions. For example, a student may attend summer school, receive tutoring, repeats a grade, or may go on academic probation.
- FKCP III School offers a program for students who desire an education in a Christian environment and are capable of achieving in a program dedicated to academic excellence.
- If the information for the student is complete, the parents are informed of the administration’s decision within 14 days of the interview by mail. If the information is incomplete, the decision may be delayed until the required information has been obtained.
- Acceptance
- Students may be placed on a waiting list, depending on space availability. For all grades, a student’s position on the waiting list depends on the date of application and admission classification.
- Parents and students who have been granted admission to the school are required to complete all forms and pay all required fees prior to the student beginning school.
- Upon acceptance, and it is later discovered that information (academically, behaviorally and or socially) pertaining to the student was withheld, the Admissions Committee may review the information and rescind the student’s acceptance.
CONTINUING STUDENT ENROLLMENT
Continuing students must reapply for admission and enrollment each school year. Admission and enrollment is not automatic. All qualified students will be admitted on a first-come basis regardless of race, color, nationality, or ethnic origin. Students will not be allowed to begin school until all records, forms and initial payment requirements are fulfilled.
